Memphis Getaway Trip : Concert, Sight Seeing and More
I booked the hotel room for our Memphis, TN get away trip earlier this evening; and we are all set to stay two full nights on our romantic adventure.
It wasn't easy picking a hotel to stay in, since I've never been to this area before. The last (and only) time I was in Memphis was 19 years ago; and I stayed at a KOA, across from Graceland, in a sleeper van. A lot has changed in two decades, and I have more on my agenda than a night's sleep and a half day seeing Elvis memorabilia.
There are several really nice hotels to choose from in the Memphis area, and several that have nice amenities as well as being close to the FedEx Forum; where we will be seeing Bon Jovi in concert. But there are only a small handful of hotels that are really nice, and have smoking rooms. While I know that Karen wouldn't have any issue with going outside to smoke, that isn't the point of the reason why I specifically want a smoking room.
Maybe I'm still in the euphoric high from finally having sex with Karen for the first time in over 100+ days, or being naively gullible and optimistic that our heart to heart talk the other evening will actually result in real changes in our neglected sex life; but I am considering asking Karen be my smokin' hot barberette and shave my head while we are in Memphis.
In know that it isn't the location or scenario that I have been hoping and waiting for, and Karen's hair is not yet a sexy hot blonde again (I'd give anything for her to be my blonde barberette); but who knows when that will ever happen again, and I've been trying to get her to take the hint to get us a room at the Ameristar for nearly 5 years now.
I honestly don't know what else I could possibly do to get her to take any serious interest in me, or to take any sort of initiative in learning about my desires or interests. So, I'm apparently going to have to make do, and take advantage of the opportunities that I have at hand.
No more excuses. Just do it. I'm both excited and nervous (terrified). But, let's plan to do this and see what happens. I know that I'll miss my hair, but it will be really sexy to have her shave my head again for the first time in 10 years. Besides, it will only take 3 to 5 years to grow it back.
I'm going to pack up all of the items that I was originally going to take with us for the Valentine's Weekend date (with the exception of the love letters and contacts - most of which I ripped up anyway), and have them in the back of the car for that Friday on St. Patrick's Day.
Here is a tentative schedule for our trip:
THURSDAY:
12:00 - Depart for Memphis.
16:30 - Check in to Hotel, get ready for concert, and find a place for Dinner
19:30 - Bon Jovi Concert at FedEx Forum
23:30 - Back from concert, and relax a bit before bedtime. (maybe make out for a bit)
FRIDAY: (Time ranges are estimated)
(09:00 - 10:00 AM) Late Breakfast
Make love, and share plans for the day with Karen.
Sight Seeing Adventures (??? Graceland)
(13:00 - 14:00) Lunch
More Sight Seeing or relaxing in Hotel Room. (I'm hoping to see the Memphis Zoo - They have Timber Wolves)
(18:00 - 19:00) Dinner (Somewhere really nice or fun)

- Haircut 3 - Crew Cut (All over, one length buzz at either 1" OR 1/2" long)

- Haircut 5 - Buzz it all down to stubble
- Outfit Change and Quick shower
- Haircut 6 - Shave me Smooth and Bald (Shaving cream and razor)
- Celebration Sex
