Karen ordered a new Leather Skirt today.
I'm so very excited. The skirt that I was wanting for Karen to order from Lane Bryant is on its way. She got her weekly email from their online stores saying that if she ordered an item this week, that they would provide free shipping and take an additional $20 off of the cost of any purchse over $40.
That made the skirt only $37.73 after tax.
The skirt is faux leather (or pleather as most people refer to it as) but in my personal opinion, most pleather is actually sexier than the real thing. Depending upon the specific item of clothing, and the cut and design, it forms better to the wearer, is lighter, and is often not as hot on warmer days. This skirt is also a pencil cut skirt, which means it tapers at the bottom portion of the skirt, and will not tend to flare out around the curves of a curvier woman. It's knee length, so it should look conservative enough to be worn out and about with a nice blouse, and be appropriate for all situations, casual or semi dressy depending upon the top worn with it.
And the best part, with Karen's gorgeous "bootay" and oh so sexy legs (you don't even know what those legs do to me when she goes strutting around in a skirt), it is going to look absolutely fabulous on her. GROWWWWWWL!!!!!!!
Now, to begin planning some sort of date night to give her an excuse to wear it out on the town. Gonna check the schedule to see if there is a Friday or Saturday night that's not already booked up. Maybe she'll wear it on the date night that she'll be planning for the night when she shaves my head... Yummy!
