Simply Irresistible
Between the years of 1986 and 1989 Robert Palmer created and produced three of the sexiest music videos to have ever been shown.
Charter Cable TV recently switched up their grid lineup; and although most of what they accomplished was to create a lot of channel duplication and confusion, they also added more of the locally broadcast digital signal stations to the range of channels between 78 and 100. Several of them are music video channels that play non stop videos much like old school MTV.
This evening, I managed to catch one of Robert Palmer's videos, and promptly looked up my other two favorites on YouTube. At first, I just wasn't getting it. There's no leather, rubber, or vinyl skirts or dresses (other than two models briefly shown in pink PVC coated neoprene swim suits), no women smoking long white cigarettes, or ladies with sexy cropped hair or buzz cuts. Their dresses aren't even particularly revealing, or overly tight. In fact, with the exception that the skirts are slightly above the knees, the outfits (In the original Addicted to Love) are actually somewhat overly covering. None of the women have overly curvaceous rear ends, or large bosoms. And their dancing is not even provocative in any particular way. In fact, a couple of the girls almost look rhythmically challenged at times. There's none of the usual fetish visual triggers that would make this video stand out as being particularly sexy in that regards. So what gives?
I watched each one a time or two more, and I think I have finally put my finger on what it is, exactly, that I find so irresistibly sexy and insanely attractive about the models (in general. not any specific one) in these three videos:
I think the only thing that could have made the models any sexier (barring the usual visuals mentioned in my above pre-list summary. ie: fetish visuals, etc...) would have been for some, if not all, of the models to have been curvier, plus sized women. I would love to see a remake of all three videos using only women of between 14 and 24 in dress size. With their hair, and makeup like in the above fashion, THAT would be a sexy video to watch.

- All of the models have that dark hair slicked back smooth, and close to their heads; and the long locks of their hair are rolled up into a sexy tight bun at the nape of their neck. Very, very, sexy.
- All of the models have smooth light skin, pink rosy blush on their cheek bones, smokey eye shadow, and bold, glossy, red lipstick on their full pouty lips.
- All of the models are wearing sheer black pantyhose over their smooth shaven legs.
- All of the models are wearing black high heels.
