Karen's new haircut - My Wife is HOT & Gorgeous!
After going to tonight's girl's night out, Karen decided to stop by the hair salon to get her hair cut. I had texted her earlier in the evening with the call ahead number to put her name in for Angie.
I've been hoping, wanting, for Karen to try growing her hair out again. I'd love to see her hair back to the beautiful bob that she had earlier last year, up until Sunday June 1st 2008. And, in an uncharacteristic move on my part, I'd love to see her hair grown out long down to her shoulders or longer. But Karen has gotten accustomed to her current hairstyle of short above the ears and spiky in the back. It looks really good on her, and is easy for her to style, but is typically not as short as I'd really like to see on her as far as short hair goes. But that's a whole other story, and one I think I've told before.
When Karen came through the door tonight, I was pleasantly surprised. Her short red locks were cut a bit shorter than normal, and it looked damn hot. The spiky portion in the back was cut down to an inch in length at the nape and graduated up to about two inches long just below the crown. I wanted to run my fingers through that beautiful red hair, and then run my hands all over her body. It's the best cut that I've seen on her in quite a while, and I think that she likes it. Maybe she'll keep up this shorter version of her favorite haircut.
EDIT: Ok, so to briefly revisit the topic of the short haircut that I'd love to see on Karen. I've told her many times that I would love to see her get a 1 inch crop cut. One very much like the one that I gave her right after Delaney was born. But she says that's not going to happen. I can still dream, can't I?
Well, as another, longer, option, I would love to see her current haircut modified just a bit. Take the two inch length that is currently at the back of her head, just below the crown, and continue that length forward over the top of her head. Once you neared the bang area it would graduate to longer lengths until you reached the same current length of her bangs. The shorter top would be long enough to lay down in a more conservative look (very much like its current look) but would be short enough to spike up and look really spicy and hot. Of course, I know that Karen is not going to cut her hair like this either, but I like to fantasize about it.
For now, I'm just going to enjoy looking at the beautiful haircut that is currently on my gorgeous wife's sexy head. Short,... spiky,... and red.
