Love is Not a Choice
A friend recently asked the question: "How do you tell your heart to stop loving someone?
Love is a Miracle, Created and Ordained by God.
Mortal creation, Man and Woman, can neither start or stop it.
But it is within our Free Will to choose to accept or reject the love that God the Father has joined between two hearts in a Covenant Vow.
A choice that must be made daily, and only for one's self; for we cannot change the heart of another, nor can we make the choice to love on behalf of another.
We can only expose or hide the flame which burns within our own heart.
When we expose that flame, we are vulnerable. But only by continuing to expose our flame can it grow and give strength to the flame of another.
When the heat of either flame feels diminished, Pray. For God the Father never abandon's that which He has once ordained.
So, Pray and Choose, for the Love cannot be stopped; only hidden or denied. Even still, it will forever occupy a portion of the Heart and Soul in which it forever burns.
