I Got A Goodnight KISS
Even better than seeing the Blues win the Stanley Cup, when I went in to tell Karen goodnight, she grabbed my hand, pulled me to her, and gave me a goodnight kiss.
this is the first initiated sign of affection (other than consoling hugs) that Karen has given to me in more than a week; especially in light of what has happened between us last Thursday through Sunday (06/06 -06/09/2019).
I cannot tell you what an answer to prayer that small moment was to me.
I still do not feel that I deserve that kiss, but it makes me want to keep trying even harder to earn it and many more like it.
I love my wife so much. More than I could ever put into words. I don't want to let her, or the kids, down ever again.
