She flies with the wind.
Ginny watches as Luna takes off on the ice-skating ring, manoeuvring her way through the crowds, smiling at the kids, and waving at the things only she can see. She's in utter awe of this woman. This woman who practically saved Ginny from herself after the war. This woman who never lets anything get her down.
Luna whips around boys who think they are so fit and they eat ice as a result of it.
Eventually, she crashes into Ginny and they both go tumbling down, laughing. Ginny's breath catches when she sees the way Luna is looking at her.
"Love, there are people around."
"Oh, are there?" Luna asks, and Ginny still can't tell when Luna is being serious or not.
"Let's go home then?" asks Ginny.
"Very well. But we must stop by for hot chocolate on the way home. The Nargles will be waiting of them."
"Of course," says Ginny. She stopped trying to make sense of it long ago. All she knows is she's going home tonight with a beautiful woman and they are going to sit by the fire, biscuits and hot chocolate waiting under the tree for the Nargles.
