As soon as they were in the hotel, James was on Scorpius with Teddy not too far behind.
"Merlin, I've missed your talented tongue," James said, biting Scorpius's ear before leaving a trail of kisses down his neck.
Scorpius moaned into the touch.
"What about Teddy?" Scorpius asked, looking for his friend. "Didn't you miss him."
"I did…" James chuckled. "But you met us at the pub, remember?"
"You were together, before?" Scorpius hated the hesitance in his voice.
"I… is that going to be okay? I didn't think you'd have-"
"No," James said, pressing against Scorpius. "Of course not," he lied.
It would only be natural James and Teddy be together without him. Just because he was in the mix didn't mean they couldn't meet without him. Even if they were all in the same town. They were the couple, he had to remind himself.
"Scorpius…" Teddy quickly came next to Scorpius and raked his fingers through Scorpius's hair. "Please don't be upset."
"I'm not upset. You're a couple, so of course, you'd be…you know?"
"I told you." Teddy looked at James accusingly.
"No. No. No. It's fine. I promise!" Scorpius begged. "What matters is we're together now."
