"I think we need to be a little more careful around the house," Scorpius said to James and Teddy when he met them for a pint. Teddy was back from his trip and the next day, James was off to training again.
It was no wonder James and Teddy had managed to keep their relationship a secret for so long- or well, at least from Scorpius, because the actual meeting time wasn't totally flexible.
"What do you mean?" Teddy asked, looking concerned.
"My father and Harry…they know about you two. And, Father knows about the three of us now."
"What did you tell him?" James snapped but Scorpius could tell by his expression it was in frustration with their secret, not him. "I knew I should have stayed-"
"Then you would've lied to him and in the end, if and when Harry were to find out, it wouldn't look good for you."
"I don't care how it looks for me," James said, almost scoffing.
Scorpius smiled. Ever the Gryffindor. It was this type of fire which had attracted Scorpius to James in the first place.
"Why are you smiling?"
"Because, you don't see the big picture, do you? You can't play this day by day and you can't lie to Draco and think Harry would be all right with it."
"But…" James started again but Teddy put a hand on his shoulder.
"Why don't we start from the beginning. So Draco knows about the three of us? And he's known about James and I, as well?"
Scorpius nodded and then regaled his entire conversation with his father to Teddy and James. "He says he trusts me. Wants me to be happy. But, I'm not sure how Harry will feel about it. It's all a bit you know-"
"Complicated," said James.
"Incenstous," said Scorpius.
And then they all started laughing.
"So, do we have a plan?" Teddy asked when they finished their first round of pints and then James went to get them another.
"Run away?" Scorpius asked. "I believe that was mentioned before."
"I think we should drop the subject. No use talking about something that's going to all blow up in our faces, anyway. Why don't we finish this and go to the hotel room I reserved."
"You reserved a hotel room?" Teddy asked, surprised. "Why?"
"Because… My father will come looking for us and I want to enjoy my last night with my boyfriends before training. You know, training is actually hard and I don't wanna waste any more time discussing our parents or what the fuck ever. I want you two…" And then he lowered his voice because, James did know a thing or two about discretion. "Naked and ready for my cock."
"Well, can't exactly argue with logic," Scorpius said when Teddy was only shaking his head.
"You're not even worried we're gonna get in loads of trouble?"
"Nope." James said, finishing his drink and then waiting for Teddy and Scorpius to do the same.
