I think fest mods should send their participants (something like) google calendar invites - it's an appointment date and it'll say something like: "May 15, hprarefest due" and the recipient would accept it and it will automatically be on their calendar so if you have a fandom calendar, you can check due dates easily and stay more organized!
BAM.
I think it'll work wonders for people like me that do 15+ fests a year.
Right now I physically go in and put it in my calendar and there are times I forget to do it and FORGET I signed up for something and scramble around for extensions.
Also mods will stop getting those exhaustingly frustrating emails like "I forgot I'd signed up for this. I guess I'm dropping out?" <<<<<<<----- could you be a bigger douche? (Okay, I take fandom responsibility far too seriously -- or maybe I just have a huge thing for not being an asshole)
okay, shut up, DIG
ETA
I only started talking about due dates - before I got distracted by rudeness that is some people - was that I need to stay more organize or sign up for less fests.
/that is all.
