congrats!!! tumblr is the weirdest place for art. ive kinda given up on it, tbh. i don't think my art is tumblr material. like....the only traditional art that folks seem to lose their shit over are random drawing with the pencil/pen/paintbrush photographed next to it. (speaking of, WHEN did that phenomenon start up? everybody fucking does it and i just dont get it! like, "here's what i drew. look what i drew it with in case you don't believe me."

the mob mentality of tumblr, even the hp part, makes my eye twitch sometimes.

idk maybe i'm old...but i am so over folks using "pure" to describe anything that they remotely like. and i'm all for the internet bastardizing the english language! it's one of the best things about teh internetz!

but for some reason....i cant help but think that tumblr overkills everything...

I COMPLETELY AGREE W/ YOU. I actually am barely on tumblr. I log on from time to time now b/c the mobile app is slightly easy to maneuver now - and just reblog drarry tag.. but that's about it.

A couple of my f/f art are pretty decent so I wanna give f/f exposure but otherwise, I dont know how people can build friendships and relationships on tumblr - it's just so RANDOM.
