a birthday present:
now i work at mar vista pool as a lifeguard; saturdays, sundays, wednesdays, and thursdays. come visit. tuesdays i coach my junior water polo team at westchester pool. its good money, good weather, and cute small babies, but i sort of wish i could just sit around sometimes. i bought a laptop, its fast. i cleaned my closet, its sad. i went cabining twice, once with joe & pals and once with maxwell, both times i loved. yesterday i surfed with anthony and maxwell. the ocean is choppy and dark and messy and fun. i love it. i am also eighteen now. im scared of my future. i dont want my life to change. i dont want my friends to change. my days are numbered. i feel helpless sometimes, but other times i feel really happy for the summer, the ease, the late nights, the free stuff, the friends.
after all, summer is tiight
