[ The action alone already spoke volumes to him, but at the same time, it only served to further frustrate Rock, his trembling shoulders tensing as he grit his teeth. She didn't need to be here, didn't need to see this. Her presence was only making this that much harder for him, especially considering that he knew he had to shoot Juno now. But as much as he wanted her to leave, he knew in the back of his mind that she wouldn't. And that only aggravated him further, making him close his eyes. ]

... I don't want you to see this.

[ He finally said, the Buster Gun trembling in his hand as he hesitated, visibly. And that hesitation was all Juno needed, its large gray arm raising to clutch at Rock's body as the mechanical monster stood up straight and held the blue boy tightly in its hand. Or claw, as the case may have been. Tight enough that the first thing that left Rock's mouth when Juno squeezed was a pained scream.

There was no longer a torso on the ground as Juno stood to its full height. No, in the place of the crippled machine was a large threatening visage. A literal mechanical monster, much different from the original dream. And much more terrifying. ]

If you wish to shoot me, please do not hesitate.

[ Even with the calm monotone that was Juno's voice, it was hard to miss the mocking tone in his words. But all the same, his words were quickly being drowned out by Rock's screams. ]

GYAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

[ She sees that hesitation, and it somewhat annoys part of her - a voice inside her yelling for him to shoot already - but she didn't expect anything that came after that. For a moment her breath stops when she notices the big metal skeleton. The head was still human-looking - the head from the torso on the ground - but aside from that there was nothing even vaguely human-looking about the machine.

... Well, that made fighting it all the easier, since she wasn't planning on letting the thing keep Rock in its claws if she could help it. With a quick flash from her Soul Gem her clothes fade away, being replaced by her red magical girl outfit. And with another flash she takes her spear out of nowhere, charging at the big robot with it. ]

You---! Let go of him or just stand there when I beat you up!

Any further resistance is useless.

[ The words were spoken in such a calm monotone, that it was almost hard to believe that they were coming from the same monstrosity Kyouko was charging at. Yet at the same time, there was no one else the words could be coming from. And almost as if to prove his point, Juno wasted no time raising his other arm and quickly gathering what looked like a miniature sun in his claw, lunging the large fireball at Kyouko.

All the while Rock cracked one eye open, teeth grit as he used all his willpower to push through the blinding pain. Raising his Buster inch by inch, trying to aim it as his face again...

... Before his world once more exploded with pain, the claw curled around him giving another painful squeeze, another pitiful scream erupting from his lips. ]

You were nearly successful in terminating my life support sub-routine functions. You are, however, too late now.

[ The thing is huge, but Kyouko has fought bigger things before-- so she quickly summons her red link fence, which barely manages to stop the fireball before immediately shattering and disappearing into thin air again. It's strange to suddenly have magical energy this unlimited without her Soul Gem dimming, but at the same time her stamina isn't unlimited.

But she hears Rock's scream and it urges her on again. She can't give up any time during this battle, because she has to save him, has to do it right this time. She can't lose anymore people because of her own stupid mistakes, not after Sayaka.

At first it seems like she's running at the robot with her spear, but she suddenly stops and jumps up in the air, the spear quickly extending itself around her before it goes in to try and slash Juno. ]

[ For all his power and strength in this form, Juno was still relatively large and easy to hit like this, not to mention rather slow in terms of dodging. So when Kyouko came at him with the spear, there was no way for Juno to move out the way, and the usually calm robot couldn't help but let out a pained grunt as the spear hit. The closest thing to an emotion to come out of him.

Yet the spear didn't go through his exoskeleton. Heck, it didn't even look like it did any damage, the gray metal looking completely unharmed. Had it not been for the pained grunt, and the slight stagger as the spear hit, it wouldn't have even been possible to tell that damage had been inflicted..

There was no mistaking it though. Not by Kyouko, and certainly not by Rock. So much so that the moment Rock saw the opening in Juno's defenses, he pushed right through the pain he was feeling and immediately began to let loose with plasma shots to Juno's face. It wasn't going to do much in terms of immediate damage, and Juno could've probably easily punished him for it... but he wasn't going to give up. Not not, not ever, not even if he was dying... ]

K-Keep going..!

[ Actually Kyouko just grits her teeth more at the sight of Rock still in that thing's grasp, but she forces a grin on her face nonetheless. Battles like these were what she lives for after all, right? ]

Do you really think I could stop while you're hanging in there like that? I'm not going to lose some sorta endurance contest!

[ The grin doesn't disappear from her face though as she forces her spear towards the tall robot over and over again, even if it hadn't seemed like it did much damage before. ]

[ A declaration like that shouldn't have amused Rock in this kind of situation. Especially when his life was literally on the line. But as much as he didn't want to be amused by it, he couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle at it. Sometimes, he really wished he had this kind of determination... maybe then, he wouldn't end up in these kinds of situations. Where things came back to bite him in the ass.

On Juno's end though, things were getting a bit more difficult. While the first spear strike hadn't actually done any physical damage to him, the multiple strikes were a different story. And it was starting to show quite clearly, the armor denting and showing signs of actual battle damage the more Kyouko pressed forward with her attack. ]

Enough!

[ Juno suddenly cried out, his tone sounding oddly... angry? Nonetheless, he squeezed Rock and immediately threw him over at the redhead, hoping the move would serve as enough of a distraction. With his other claw now free though, he gathered a small amoung of energy into it, running his claw along the floor in front of him, and sending out a shockwave of heat along the floor, at the both of them. ]

[ She does notice the chuckle - which only eggs her on more to do whatever she can - and the change in Juno's tone, but she's distracted from that the moment Rock is thrown at her. Catching might be a bit too much, but she at least manages to ease his landing a little with her own body. But it is enough of a distraction, as she's so occupied with that that her spear stops attacking, instead going back to its usual form.

That's why she notices the attack somewhat late too, and she quickly regains her stance to try and clock it, summoning her chain link fence which can stop an attack like that as well.. but it's clearly taking a lot out of her, as she grunts while keeping up the fence as it dunks it out against the heat wave to see which one will give out first. But at least Rock is behind her now, protected, which gives her at least less to worry about. ]

[ Everything hurt. From his legs to his arms to his head, everything hurt. And just the slightest bit of movement made his entire body practically rebel, his muscles screaming in protest as he tried to push himself up from the floor. But no matter how much it hurt, he couldn't sit still right now. Not when Juno was still going, not when Kattelox was still in danger, not when Kyouko was fighting his enemy.

He had to fight, had to keep going no matter what. This was his fault from the beginning. His responsibility. So it was his fight to finish. And there weren't going to be any more second chances, not this time. ]

K-Kyouko.. [ He groaned out, gritting his teeth as he got back on his feet. And with a quick glance at the shockwave of heat, Rock already knew what he needed to do. ]

... Drop the fence.

... What the heck are you saying?!

[ It's perhaps a little more snappy than usual, because she's feeling a bit more insecure than usual - she doesn't know if she can fight this, can win this. It's not like the witches she fought back home, after all. And this time it's not just her own life on the stake, which causes her insecurity more than anything and she can't quite explain that nagging feeling. ]

Do you want it to hit us or what?
