Marc Jacobs Vans..the epic story
Hello everyone its almost 1 am now..and i feel like telling a story that is sure to go down in history as the greatest story ever (that has to do w/ marc jacobs vans)..it all started w/ prom. i asked a friend of mine and thought it'd be cool to wear sneakers so she told me her dress was a turquoise so i thought a darkish blue would work thus the orgin of the original pair of marc jacobs vans that i bought form the MJ store on melrose.. 
ya know pretty reasonable shoes + theyre marc jacobs i bougth em for 92 bucks and then i saw her dres and it didnt match at all this stressed me out for a few days cause i was scrambling looking around for a pair of cool sneakers that match, plus the marc jacobs shoes could only be returned for store credit, so i either had to exchange them for a pair that matched, found someone interested in buying a pair and then exhcanging them for the buyers shoe size, or sell my store credit. none of these seemed very appealing since the store is liek 40 minutes away. so i decided i would just go see if there were otehr shoes that matched her dress and planned to go to the store again today (wednedsay).. since i planned to hang out w/ alex yesterday.
where teh true story begins..
so here comes tuesday and i see alex and im ready to go hang out but hes not feeling well leaving me with a free afternoon, thsi afternoon just so happens to also be an afternoon that my date is free so we jsut on a whim decide to go exchange my shoes in hopes for a pair that matches her dress. so we drive down dont hit much traffic its fun its great.. when we get to the marc jacobs store what is the first thign i see? "MARC JACOBS VANS $25"...so compared to the original price of 85 bucks thats an intense difference..and the result is this
22 pairs of shoes
+ a jacket

but only 3 are for me i bought a total of 10 shoes.. 7 were requests from others. and then i went again today with spencer (on the right) and alex (on the left) and bought 12 more
i calculated w/ the orignal price this woudlve been about $2126
but we only payed about $625
talk about luck.. if the shoes orignally matched i woudlnt have bothered to go back down and i woudlve payed almost 100 bucks just on one pair of shoes (instead of getting 3 pairs and a jacket for only liek 20 bucks more) and if i hung out w/ alex on teusday and went today instead they wouldnt have had the shoes that im going ot wear to prom
(plus that was the last pair they had in 11) and some guy bought like 20 k worth of shoes
and now im leaving w/ 3 pairs of shoes for myself and a pretty nice jacket (which was supposed to be 300 bucks that i snagged for 50)

and for all of your information..it was ben hou who first took me down to the store so if it wasn't for him.. ths post woudlnt have even been possible so props for him..he's a good man
