the real world.

someone I held the utmost respect for, died yesterday.

I started Wing Chun Kung Fu when I was 11 and trained at LEAST 3-5 times a week until the age of 19.
The reason I started this martial art was solely because of a guy who did some door knocking to gain interest in the new academy. Immediately my dad was excited about it. Initially I HATED it. I was very shy in my younger days...

Anyways, Shane passed away due to cancer. In my gold sash grading ( I did this whilst in year 12) I fought against Shane as he was a Sifu. I don't know where I'm going with this, but to this day I am still bumping into people from kung fu, was the best time I've ever had. That's the impression he had on my life.

what a way to go. I often think about what memories we leave behind for others to dissect.
