All right I had to say that Ed on Welcome to Sanditon really reminds me of Scott Sherwood from Remember WENN. I think it's a physical thing -- some body language and his appearance -- because the characters are so different.

Scott Sherwood certainly wouldn't spend the night talking about The Day of the Triffids and then have to run to the library to read Rip Van Winkle. I wonder if Ed's Myers-Briggs type is NTP ... I lean more INTP, which oddly enough would make him the same type as Victor Comstock.
As for Sanditon it seems 'ship Éclair has officially launched. ;-)
