Screenings, trailer stuff, Twitter, podcast notes and more
First off, the Live Journal goat has eaten one my Les Mis posts. It was up for like a day or so and then it died. How I do not know. Here is the direct link to the missing post (I had the link in my browser history). Hopefully the goat puts it back. Meanwhile, I've put the content on an LJ cut at the end of this post.

There are loads of clips on YouTube of the newest trailer in various languages. But I thought it worth highlighting this one: the trailer in French.
Awards consideration and early screenings
The for-your-consideration paperwork etc … has been put out for Les Misérables. Read the whole list here (select Les Misérables when you get there). Universal has suggested everyone but Aaron Tveit (Enjolras) for nominations. Also see "Screenings," to see the date, location and time for each screening over Thanksgiving weekend.
As we know, the film will be shown in New York next weekend. As someone on IMDb noted, it will show shown in "enemy territory" at the Lincoln Center. More details here.

Hooper's certainly assembled of a h*** of a cast here (to say nothing of the Oscar-winner who we hear makes a surprise cameo in the picture…)
