My stuff came!
I'm rotting on my "North and South" DVD, I love it! But I think Margaret is a little annoying at times and I think Mr. Thornton needs counseling *g* Now I MUST read the book! I love that the father is played by the bad guy from "Jewel in the Crown"!
I also bought the UK edition of "Jane Eyre" 2006. I've seen some 5 film adaptations of JE, and 2 musicals. This is the first one I really liked, other than the Paul Gordon musical. I had a copy recorded off TV but I wanted a good DVD copy and I bought the UK edition for the extras. WGBH DVDs aren't reliable, they always seem to cut stuff.
Meanwhile, here's my new campaign slogans:

Obama is going to have a very hard time of things. The Republicans are going to rip him up -- easily. That isn't to say he can't still pull out a win, but it will be very ugly! Of course a lot can happen between now and November. But Obama's problems, especially with rural swing votes, will come back to haunt him, in fact they are likely to get a lot worse.
