virtual insanity.
Well, tonight was an amazing night!!! FINALLY! it's about time i had one of those!
Recap: Evan and I went to get food. We ended up eating about twenty pounds of junk food. Then his friend came by and told us to go to kareoke night. TJ came and met us, and we went down to see the whole Kareoke thing.
Then someone had the bright idea to sing remix to ignition.
So, TJ puts our three "stage names" on the card along with the song title and we waited an anxious hour until our big debut. TJ was going to sing, while Evan and I danced in the background, and came in on the chorus. We planned it out, even went in the hallway to work on our moves.
We got up on stage, our backs to the crowd, and the music kicks in. TJ starts out with the part that goes "I usually don't do this, but, uh, go ahead and break em off with a little preview of the remix"... and we start dancing... only, the song wasn't remix to ignition. It was a different song. As soon as we realize, we're dying laughing and TJ's screaming "what the fuck?" into the microphone. Evan and I get off stage, doubled over in laughter, the audience is laughing too, and TJ says "no,no... put on kylie mynogue (however you spell it)" SO. they did. "i just can't get you out of my head" was a hit. TJ sang. and we danced. and it was hilarious.
our scores: 9.5, 9.5, 8.75. Not too shabby.
Today i found out that i qualified for a grant!! Praise GOD! that is so amazing, considering i was scared about tuition payments and all that.
Keep Josh in your prayers, he has an interview tomorrow at 11 for a job- a REAL JOB, a career job that sorta came out of nowhere, and it would be sooo amazing if he got it!
People outside my building are screaming the lil john "WHHAAAT?" and "OHHHKAY" hilarious.
