I'm taking a break from doing stupid math homework. I always let it all build up until the day before I have to turn it in, so then it's always 5 hours of math at once, which is quite the amount of math. So i write.
Yesterday was Chas's birthday party. The big 2-0. When i gave Chas his happy birthday hug, i immediately digressed several years back to our junior year of highschool. I remember giving Chas a happy birthday hug when he turned 17. It made me so happy to think how cool it is that I'm still friends with Chas, and though we've gone our separate ways, we still love each other. how awesome. Kate showed up to the party, and it was really cool to see her. It was as if it was last year, and we were all partying at "the" apartment again. One of the best parts of the night was, after one of the many crazy antics we all participated in, Dave, Kate, Jess, and I stood in a huddle with our arms around each other and talked about how much we all loved each other.
707 was amazing as usual. I really feel like my friendships are growing deeper by the day, and I'm realizing how vital it is to have deep, solid friendships. I'm so thankful that my friends are, in a sense, becomming family.
There are times when I need to be reminded that not everyone is happy. It seriously kills me to see you so sad. I can try to help. I won't even say a word if you don't want me to, but I can be there for you. Even if we're not as close as we used to be. I have so much love for you. You are my Gi Beta Gi sister for life.
