Some Favorite Music Videos

Jan 12, 2012 17:16

No fic, but I thought I'd share some of my favorite music videos. Since I've mostly been listening to music that came out over six months ago or more, I didn't think a regular music post was going to be very informative (really, Di? Listing Panik and 90% of Ein Bisschen Zeitgeist wouldn't be enlightening? No!).

I found out they were brothers about a month ago. It, uh, cleared some things up.

First of all, this is a collab between three bands and Travis McCoy, who is probably the most awesome alternative vocalist in the world. Then there's the fact that the collab is between four lead singers, and lead singers are almost always awesome party divas, which leads to good times. Try and tell me you wouldn't want to party with these four.

Just listen to it. And, uh, watch.

Btw, I haven't seen this movie. I haven't seen a lot of movies, especially ones with cultural significance.

I have a love/hate relationship with Rammstein. As an American, I love them. As a German speaker, I fucking hate them. Their lyrics are terrible. Their music videos and actual sound are great. This one is so fucked up, and I adore it.

If LaFee were American, she'd be Christina Aguilera-trailer trash. Which is not a bad thing. I really like her old music. Her new stuff is pop-y trash.

This one is adorable. "Move your ass", indeed.

I love the Dixie Chicks. Their sound was great, but they had really amazing videos.

Not really what I'd consider for a favorite music video since it's more just them singing, but Kimberly has such a strange look that it really startles you and makes you want to watch.

Uh, trashy girls are awesome? Also, Gabe Saporta.

That's about it. I would include a bunch of Panik, Tokio Hotel, KiPi, and so on but, like I said, it wouldn't exactly be news. ;>
