ok, so the first thing i want to say is that i don't like wearing a watch while i'm on a computer, especially my laptop, on which my wrists hover or rest on the part in front of the keyboard, and a watch gets extremely annoying. at home though, or at iroquois, when i was on a PC, i took my watch off too. its just an irritation while i type. ai'ight. so i haven't entered a post since sunday... well, i might have... the whole backdating thingy. but 'tis friday, and i'm done with classes, which feels very good. my intro to politics class is combined with the aristotle class, so guess what it revolves around... thats right! everyone's favorite macedonian... ARISTOTLE! but thats cool *secretary from farris bueller voice* "they all think he's a rightous dude." the other classes are cool. most of the homework is reading, and the occasional essays, except for chem and pre-calc. i have already taken both classes in high school however, so they should be fairly easy. bib lit is a sweet class too, go for 50 minute classes, three days a week, and learn about the bible! how can you go wrong!? then there's this houghton specialty, called FYI (first year introduction). it meets twice a week, one time is a speech by someine in the chapel, and the other is smaller, group orientated session. its seems cool. the book we have for it is Letters to Young Scholars by William Ringenberg, and it seems like a really good book. so yeah, thats pretty much the acedemic side of things. but now i have dinner, and i am hungry, so i'm just gonna go ahead and post this (as unintersting as it is), because if i don't, it prolly won't get posted. so i promise, something more interesting is coming in my next entry...
