Sign Ups: Writers

I know we said that we'd be opening writer sign-ups on the 26th, but it occurred to me that it was rather pointless to hold off on opening them and, after conferring with my fellow moderator, we decided to go ahead and let you guys sign up now!

RULES FOR WRITERS

1. Include warnings.
2. Your fic must be at least 5000 words long and be a complete story in its own right (if you want to write it as a sequel or the first in a series, that’s fine, but make sure that your fic tells a complete story of its own too).
3. It must also be a story original to you which has not previously been posted online in part or in full.
4. Your rough draft must be at least 80% complete and the remainder of the fic must be outlined for your artist’s convenience.
5. So long as your story centres on characters from 01 and/or 02, you can write whatever you want - slash, het, gen. AUs, fusions, crossovers, etc.
6. You may sign up to write more than one story if you believe you will be able to do so within the time limit.
7. You may also collaborate with another writer if you so desire.
8. You will be assigned a posting date. Posting your fic (or pieces of it) anywhere online before that time is not allowed, unless otherwise stated (we will give you chances to share a paragraph or two over the course of the challenge).
9. You may post on whichever websites you wish, so long as it can be freely accessed by anyone (no f-locking posts, etc). You do not need to post your fic on LJ, but you will need to create a post on the Comm with links to the complete fic.
