Hmmm, la la la, got me two phonecalls and a text from sarah last night. Which was very unexpected, for both the calls, not the text.
Saw the Deftones last night, they were good, although I wanted to lamp every member of the crowd that walked past me, they were just being ignorant twats. The Place was packed and Chino didn't seem too stoned to play the set for once, they were spot on, played everyone song I could have wanted to hear and didn't bullshit around about anything; althought the way they ended it was pretty crap.
What else to rant about? Oh managed to get some new DJ equipment, it's nice, good stuff that I can actually do a good job with, I was getting so tired of the random hi-fi decks. On the thought of equipment I finally got the M-Audio 18/14 external sound device I've been after since I worked out what was the most appropriate for my needs, also got me an SE2000 condensor mic at the same time, unfortunatly Sound Control didn't have any balanced jack cables for me to use with the 18/14 and my monitors and my firewire port isn't work atm, so I'm still using my on mobo sound card through my mixing desk. Other than that I'm itching to start recording people. Gotta get my band done first though.
Work is ok, nothing new there.
I've really lost things to rant about, ... .. aokaog, ll ... ll.. nope, just pressing random keys now.
Oh got my server plugged into my TV in the living room it's awsome, I can watch anime on it, the subtitles are readable as well.
Spose I should make an update about the whole moving thing as well. Ok well I'll deal with you, you let me know what you Wales people are doing during the 11th to the 16th of August and I'll make a specific update, showing off my new flat? Sound good? Ok well GO!
