Sales stuff...
Hi Guys! I've started listing my comics, some of our DVD's and various and sundry other baubles in my eBay store. This is just the tip of the iceberg for my comics. I've still got boxes and boxes to go through but this is a start.
We still need money to get by this week so I'm hoping that things will sell. Thankfully payday will be Friday, we just have to get from here to there. Plus, I'm saving up for something else that could be life changing for us.
A couple of months ago Lee's boss got a big promotion. The person who has been serving in his old job as interim has just not been working out. Because of that, they've opened a job search to replace him. Nick really wanted Lee to apply so he did. He submitted the paperwork last Friday!
Right now we're in wait mode. Once they close the search, which should be this week, if they haven't already, they'll start in person interviews. We know that Lee will at least get an interview. He'll have to have a suit for that. We haven't gotten him a new suit in eighteen years, which was the one we got when he applied for his current job. Thankfully, places like JC Pennys or Kohls are having big sales but we just don't have it right now. That's part of what I'm hoping selling stuff can help with.
Guy, any and all good thoughts for Lee would be much appreciated. If he got this Director position it would completely change our lives! With the increase in his salary we could actually start paying down our medical bills not just tread water with them. We could stop neglecting our house and maybe not have to worry all the time about how we're even going to make it week to week. :)
