Scary but not as bad as it could have been...
Just got off the phone with Brenzels. They've finished the RAV so I'll go and pick it up from them after I get mom from Daycare at five. The total bill is bad, $502.55, but it could have been much, much worse. They'd originally quoted me $400.00 so it only ended up a little over a hundred more that we'd thought it would be. I think they really tried their best to keep the cost down for us as much as they could.
That still takes a major chunk out of the money we have to live on for this month. At least it's not such a scary number as a thousand dollars would have been for me to have make up by selling stuff. Means I need to buckle down and keep getting things sold, though.
But, yay! Lee's car is fixed and won't be hemorrhaging oil all over the place now. That's something at least. I have to find silver linings where I can. It really helps keep things from being totally overwhelming.
