She laughed, ruffling already tousled curls. "It sure is, baby. I think…"
"This party private or can anybody join?"
"Hi."
"Hi, beautiful." John's voice rumbled a shiver clear through her as he kissed Mary's cheek.
"The baby kicked me, Daddy!"
John dropped to one knee, hugging Dean. "Yeah? That's pretty darned cool, huh, Bud?"
Mary smiled. Hand settled protectively over her stomach, she felt a tiny flutter. Her youngest definitely agreed.
