January's wind howled outside, the cold bit hard against his fingers, numbing them even through his gloves. Dad and Dean had promised they'd be back tonight. God, he was so sick of always being left behind; just like a stupid baby!
He'd show 'em, he'd show them both! Sam left the shelter of his tumbled nest of blankets, gathering up his knife. With all the might of his righteous indignation, he tossed it at his makeshift target. Bullseye! That was seven in a row! He was good at this, maybe even better than Dean. They'd have to take him now!
