California: Sebastopol

Hanging out in Sebastopol. I'm terribly productive here. Part of it is that I never really feel pressure here. I've never come up when I had a deadline; it's always been times when I could afford to do nothing. And that helps me get things done. I wrote my Michigan admissions essay here, and I think a draft of my undergrad thesis. I do a lot of reading here, and a fair bit of a writing. I also play with the chickens, pick fruit, make food (lemonade, curry, and apple juice this time). Despite my productivity, I come home (wherever home is) with a shorter to-do list. This was my occasional place to escape when I lived in Santa Cruz. I'm glad I chose it for my first stop back in California. I needed slow and low pressure.
