This was odd
Yesterday Nick and I went to the mall because we were waiting for Ali to get out of some play she was in. He would've gone to see her I'm guessing but was supposed to be at work. They let him off early though so we decided we were going to go up there so I could get my oil changed (never happened..bastards were closed) and we were going to go to the mall. So we get to the mall and as we're passing a T-Mobile stand and the girl there is like "Hey you two, come over here." I look at her (she had really really nice, bright green eyes and looked good too....ordinarily someone like that wouldn't have talked to me at all :-P) and then point at both my BlackBerry and my Cingular phone and tell her two is enough. Nick of course goes over to her. So I have to follow. She was really impressed with my phone (not the BB as much) which was kind of amusing. She "made" me take a pamphlet and I was supposed to read it until I passed her stand again and then signup since I told her I wouldn't do it. So Nick and I move on and as we're coming back I see which side she's on and put it really close to my nose to act like I'm doing a dead stare at it - basicaly being a smartass. But she didn't see us until we had just passed her so the "plan" failed :(. Ah well, she definitely did look good though...and she seemed kind of fun too. Anyways, I'm not a creepy T-Mobile seller stalker guy so I'll move on :-P
Tonight I saw Million Dollar Baby. Mel had recommended it and when I saw it at Kroger I opted to buy it. I hadn't seen it before but she's always seemed pretty good at picking movies out and I heard it was good so I just bought it. Plus Morgan Freeman is a great actor so I figured it couldn't be bad or anything. It turned out to be a really really good movie but it was pretty sad too. Definitely worth the money spent at least! I told Rach I had it and apparently she is going to exchange the three movies she has of mine now for that one and probably others. She made it sound like she was bribing me with my own movies - it was kinda fun.
Anyways, this weekend I didn't end up spending a single night alone which was really nice for a change. I don't think I'll have to worry about that for awhile now with Brandon living with us. There will probably be plenty of crazy nights to come with him because he's so crazy and random. But then he'll be going to the Army soon so who knows after that. I at least saw my other rommate (Derek) this weekend which was a nice change. It's kind of funny that I live with someone and never see him because we're both always doing something. The three of us, him, me, and Brandon, have had a ton of fun. Tonight us three were just being dumb with the XBox and then when we watched the movie. It was more them but it was hilarious.
Anyways, I'm not going to be sleeping anytime soon, this I already know. I'm at least not having the recurring nightmares reminding myself of losing Mel anymore, now sleep deprivation is just another part of life. I hope everyone else gets a good nights' rest though!
