georgia is gorgeous, i am in charlotte right now on my way to the march in DC
and we have been going through the mountains i think they are the foot hills of the appalachians
but it is so lush
sometimes i really love the south

since i am also from NY and probably moving to athens, can you give me some sort of an idea about how the transition was. do you like it there?

1. move to athens and if you need an escape to the city life there is atlanta 45 minutes west and charlotte 3 hours north
2. the people here are so warm and receptive i was lucky enough to already know people here but everyone is willing to help new kids
3. for the price you paid for your apartment you can rent a house
4. trains are everywhere! and every place you might want to be is within bike riding distance.
i didn't mean for this to be a list but it turned out that way
the transition was awesome but i also travel/move a lot
