This weekend was awesome. I left Friday night to go back to my aunt's house for the weekend back in my hometown. [Thomaston, G.A.] I stayed with my aunt the first night and just relaxed. Felt good to be back "home" again. The country atmosphere was great. I went to Wal-mart which was pretty much flooded and we browsed around. I grabbed some frost n' tip for my hair and we left to go eat. We pulled into Big Chick. [I bet you can't guess what they serve there. =P CHICKENZ!] Got some sweet tea and chicken sandwich. I literally hadn't stepped foot in that place since I was knee-high a grasshopper. From there we left before it got dark and cruised back through Upson and passed colored-town to catch the country-drag leading to the house. About that time I was worn out. I could barely keep my eyes open muchless watch tv so I laid on Grant's bed and slipped into coma. I recovered the next morning and knowing the whole redneck family we got a grand breakfast. Eggs, bacon, rolls, tea, YEAH. After that I kissed my Nana who came by for a short visit and she jetted back home.
The rest of the day was suttle I guess. I lounged around a bit before jumping up for a shower and so on. I dressed up and put my bags back in order. Later that evening my aunt Lisa drove me to my uncle Tommy's house. His little daughter is about 1-2yrs old so I knew we had a long weekend ahead. ^__^;; She quickly noticed my presence around the place and due to the southern twang in the family she pronounced it as best as she could. "Cow" (Kyle.) I was treated ever so kindly until she informed me she'd like me to sit in "time out." =[ I played along and eventually she loosened up and gave me a few pecks on the cheek. ^_________________________________________^ The first night arrived, I was beyond tired once again. Worn out by the late nights and busy day. He put her to bed and I retired for the night. No need for an alarm clock. At the crack of dawn it was almost like a rooster. "MOMMMMMMMY!!!!! MOMMMMMMY!!!!!!........ DEDDDY!!!!!!!!" Tommy grabbed Carson out of her little bed and carried her downstairs. That solemn face of "zzzz" set in. She rubbed her little eyes and made her way to my lap. We watched some cartoons and Tommy cooked one hell of a breakfast. What an odd mixture. Oatmeal with bacon and blueberry muffins? Ah whatever, yeah we tore it up and got clean. Jetted to the grocery store to get grill out material for later then came back for lunch.
Carson enjoyed spaghetti-o's and applesauce. I just tossed a pizza in and me and Tommy split it. After the whole battle of cries she agreed to take a nap. [THANK YOU GOD!!] We got a relief of 2 hours and 30 minutes before getting her up to play in the new kiddie pool. I guess I was being a good cousin ay'?! I got in with her and just played with her. Sun-lotioned up and her little 1 piece bathing suit. It was fun. We dried off and went back in to escape the heat until the rest of the family csme. When everyone arrived we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. You know... the usual thing. Soda's, food, cigarettes, and lounging. The summer heat was eating us alive but we managed to tough it out. The sun dropped low and the ride back with my cousins where fun. We stopped in Woodbury since I didn't have any cigs. I figured I'd smoke a few down there since I had recently been without some for quite a while. We passed through colored town again to get gas. Crackhead central. =|
Finally we made it home and hit up Wal-mart again. Leave it to me to get the wrong coloring kit. [....LOL!] After we got everything we're now back at the house and here I am. About to passout to sleep.
Well that was fun, I'll probably leave tommorow and go back home to relax with my parents for July 4th.
