It's over!

Well finally my surgery is done. I was super nervous and I was just panting the whole morning. I couldn't shake off the anxiety. The feeling was horrible. I sat in my room for some time just thinking about how I am going to be put to sleep and what not. That feeling alone just put my heartrate into the next universe. I got a shower and got dressed, relaxed clothing and all that mess. My dad drove me to the surgery area and we got out and waited in the lobby for a good 20 minutes or so. I was still nervous and my heart was already churning. Then I saw the doctor through the secretary's window and my senses just enhanced that much more. I would feel the blood coursing through my body and my teeth tingling. About 5 minutes later the nurse called me back alone. I was nervous as I just stared at my dad as the door closed. I walked back to a room with a chair that was in the shape of a T. I sat down and she just asked me generic questions about myself and how I could be contacted, ect.

Then we began the surgery routine... She took a nose-mask and placed it on my face and turned the gas up to full blast. The burning scent of vanilla filled my passages and the laughing gas pretty much took away that nervous feeling. The doctor walked in and about this time I had reached the full high from the laughing gas. I couldn't feel anything at all and I felt like I was floating. He asked me routinely how I was doing. I answered as best as I could under the influence of the high. Then he sprayed a cold liquid on my arm and inserted the IV. The last thing I remember was him saying: "Night night son... *turns on IV doper*" I stared at the dripping tube and then I passed out. Later on I woke up and my mouth was full of cotton. I was lost and felt disoriented. The nurse helped me up and I stumbled into the next room to retire on a bed while she finished the paperwork. She kept asking me questions. I was too tired and mildly high to answer so I just mumbled the best I could and laid down. They wheeled me out to the car because obviously I'm too big to control. 6'2" with 3 nurses trying to keep me from falling was quite a challenge. Finally we made it home and the pain was throbbing but nothing serious. I popped a few painkillers and went to sleep.

Pretty much all day long I've just been eating softer foods like pudding, jello's, soups, ect. I was ready for some solid foods but the sheet says I can't have anything remotely solid until this morning so I guess I'll have to wait it out. The doctor gave me 2 of the wisdom teeth he removed in an envelop. I never examined them really so I decided to check them out. I pulled up to the desk and poured the contents onto the table. They were pretty big. I just reflected for a moment. Placed them back in the envelop and went back to sleep.

Well thats about it.. I guess I should go eat or sleep? Do something... Yeah.
