I've been a KAT-TUN for nearly a year now (minus January), and a Johnny's fan for about the same time. I've moved from KAT-TUN to NEWS (briefly), KinKi Kids to Johnny's Jrs. (mostly Tokyo). My first contact (I consider them alien life-forms xD) with Johnny's began with Nobuta wo Produce, which without the narrative would have been quite boring.

I think the K8-like song title is mostly a joke. Maybe Johnny did want them to pick another song title, but I'm pretty sure Johnny knows what's going to sell. Mostly xD
I should get to downloading the QoP concert, but I have about 20MB left to use on my computer. So unless I get rid of some of that, I can't download anything *sweatdrops* I'm glad to hear Akanishi improved on his singing; now if only he would improve some of his attitude...Heh, I don't really know what he's like, but I've heard quite a few times that he's become some sort of diva. And compared to four years ago pre-debut era, he's also much less 'high' when he's on stage.
KAT-TUN is like a rebellious teenager. You think they're annoying and wish they'd get through their rebellious stage quickly, but you still kind of love them because they're cute and funny when they rebel. I still wish they'd get to the time when they admit who they are, but I also kind of love them the way they are (aka kind of stupid xD), so...it's all part of being a fan, I guess. The more I love, the harsher I get :)

He did have what I call a image issue until 2007. He couldn't decide whether he wanted to be cool, sexy or dorky cute so he usually acted out all three at the same time! I was like "Make up your mind!!" I like dorky cute, hope he stays that way. But most of his fans are built on his sex kitten image...

Haha, very true. Well, don't stress it, just take it as it is. I'm beginning to get that mindset due to the lack of my nakanishi. It cultivates patience, lol!
