computer troubles aaaaaah just kill me already.
I've been trying to partition my hard-disk ALL DAY. It didn't go well. I have no idea if it's because Vista is stupid or if it's because there are limitations for partitions (most likely theory but URGH STUPIDITY), but I've tried everything and that didn't work, so then I went and format everything and THAT FINALLY WORKED but it was a pain in the ass to move all that data somewhere else.
And then GUESS WHAT WINDOWS DIED. Probably because partitioning my hard-disk misplaced the booting areas or something, but yeah, my laptop died.
So then I phoned my dad and went DAAAAAAAAD, HEEEEEELP because I'm secretly forever three and I need my daddy ;___; Dad helped me google how to reinstall my laptop without needing a booting CD, so my entire C: disk is erased but at least I finally have Vista alive again and my hard-disk is still partitioned. I might have no idea how to do the easiest things (like install a Chinese keyboard layout) in Linux, but I totally understand why people say it's much easier to work with now :\
Oh yeah, and all that workload got my laptop all overheated. The best method I could come up with was to put it on top of a cardboard box and wipe it with ice cold water every few minutes. Messy but hey, it worked.
PLUS, this morning, something went wrong with my Internet access. I reported it this afternoon, and now I'm finally online again D:
I made some new LJ friends this week (hi! ♥) and I'm already spamming people with all my ranting. I'M NOT ALWAYS LIKE THIS, I PROMISE. Just, er, most of the time.
Urgh, I'm so sleepy right now. All I really want to do is drop dead onto my bed and wake up twenty hours later (so, not dead dead), but I'm typing this because some people find other people's misery funny and I figured I might have a one in a million chance of making someone laugh so why not.
Whining aside, what is this symbol, anyway? → ☊ It kind of looks like earphones but also doesn't.
