Roma 24 Hours

The bar crawl from the night before rendered me useless until sometime around noon. By the time we arrived however, there was not much time left so we opted to rent a large Flintstones-esque bike and ride around the Villa Borghese.

Being later in the day, many Italian kids were out of classes and also riding crazy bikes in their high Italian fashion (rather an amusing site.) After this we walked around some more, and shot some photos by a fountain in the park.

That night I went with David, a couple of people from the night before, Joanna and Michael from Australia (there were a lot of Australians), and some guys from Sweden to a jazz club named Gregory's (on Via Gregoriana) which was phenomenal. I split a bottle of regional red wine with Joanna and relaxed for the evening. The group playing was PJ Trio, and unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me because we had a couch right up front!
