For those that are interested in useful techie things... I just came across this cool free service the other day. CallWave.com. They provide a voice mail service that you can check on your computer as well as on the phone. There is a little app that runs on windows (for those of the windows persuasion) and more importantly a great widget for the mac. When you get voicemails it shows you a list of them in the widget and you can listen to them from your computer in any order and even scrub back and forth in them. Kinda like the whole "visual voicemail" thing that Jobs was touting with the iPhone.
As I mentioned at the top, it is free and works with most carriers in the US.
In other news, watched Lady in the Water last night. Very nice movie. This is the second of M Night movies that seems to deal with people discovering/awakening to their destiny/potential (Unbreakable being the other). It was enjoyable and some of the characters were really well done and colorful. Pity it did not do well in theaters as it was much better and more adventurous than a lost of fantasy drivel that gets released.
Speaking of which... still have to see Pan's Labyrinth. I hear Bowie "package" makes a guest appearance in this move ;-)
In other news... uh... wow, its almost February already.
