(no subject)
Not sure what it is about this year, but I am just not feeling Halloween. Maybe it's because we are in a new house and all the fall/Halloween stuff isn't out (still packed away), or maybe it's because it's still (till 2 days ago) been in the 90 degree range... Or maybe it's because we aren't doing anything/dressing up this year... Or maybe we are just getting old... I don't know...
Although Halloween has kinda been a bust this year, I am excited for Christmas! I walked around the Fontana Target Greatlands yesterday and they have all the Christmas stuff up already!! Pretty much everything except the actual Christmas trees! They had some cute stuff, but a limited selection, I can tell they are cutting back due to the economy.
Last year after Christmas, I bought 3 or 4 sliver garland wreaths from urban outfitters for 3.00 each (normal price was 25-30.00 I think)... And when they came, the tag said Dept 56 which is an expensive brand... So I already have my wreaths, I just need some glass ornaments to wire into them as well as some wired ribbon! Yay! Thinking my theme colors this year will either be silver/white/purple or silver/white/blue....
So, yeah... That's all that has been going on in my life, lol...
