(no subject)
Either the gloomy weather is making me tired, or I didn't sleep well last night. I'm sitting at my desk about to fall asleep!
Looks as though George and I along with some of my girlfriends may be going to the Arclight in Hollywood to see New Moon, yay! Here's to hoping for a 21+ showing!!
Feels like we got a decent amount accomplished this weekend considering we went out to Oak Glen for the 2nd weekend in a row (this time with Connie and Kyle). We put together our new desk, hung the wall hanging candle holder from Angie and Teresa, George organized the pantry, he bought his new saw, I washed, like, 10 loads of laundry, we went to costco and Ralphs and bought groceries for the week... So we didn't do too bad.
I tried doing more unpacking and came to the conclusion that there is no way I can unpack anything else until we get the office shelving in order (to hold books, toys and Nightmare Before Christmas stuff) and we get some sort of short bookcases for the livingroom to display some smaller things. That is basically all that is left in the garage (along with seasonal stuff that is slated to stay in the garage). I can't make any more headway until those boxes are moved. I know we don't even have garage door openers (such a bummer we have to buy 2) yet, but I'd love to have the room to park in the garage so as soon as we get the money, we can buy them and start using them. I have never had a garage to park in and I guess I am anxious to start using ours.
I suppose I should get back to work now :/ such a bummer, why can't we celebrate Columbus for a week?
