(no subject)
It's funny, every time I am around our friends who have kids I am reminded of just how little (if any) maternal instinct I have. Or maybe I do have it and it just feels different than I thought it would, I don't know.
There are maybe 2 people (excluding my Mom) who I think I could trust to tell me the truth about pregnancy. It baffles me that some women claim to love being pregnant. I'm sorry, how do you love getting fat, sore boobs, hemroids, swollen ankles, throwing up, etc? Unless it's all the attention they love? Again, I don't know, but it kinda seems like a big load of bull women say because they think people will think less of them as a mother if they say how uncomfortable being pregnant is. My mom had almost 9 full months of painful gastro intestinal reflux everytime she laid down... Yeah that sounds beautiful and FUN! Lol...
The whole process of pregnancy kinda gives me the willies to be quite honest... I figure I'll do it sometime, but if I had the option of being put into a coma for 9 months, I would have to seriously consider, hahaha.
Watch, I say all this and in a few years when we have kids, I'll have the easiest pregnancy ever! And then I will have to eat my words, but until then it just seems like a strange science fiction alien movie, the whole wierd process! I'm getting close to 30 and absolutly can not picture myself with a kid. I hope that changes, lol, otherwise I may have to invest in a lot of newborn Halloween costumes to dress the kid as a puppy... I like puppies... Lol!
