(no subject)
Well, I failed In my attempt at not getting sick. Boo! I feel like crap and likely won't be going to work tomorrow, maybe even the next day. I dont want to get other people sick at my office. I also didn't go with George to David's birthday dinner for fear that I would get either his or his sisters' babies sick... That's the worst-sick kids. I don't want to be to blame for that.
In other news, I'm chomping at the bit to see tonights episode of True Blood! God, this season the writers have made Eric SO unbelieveably hot, it's not even funny! I want him and Sookie to hook up, like, right now!!!
In between coughing and hacking, I was able to assist George in painting the brick on our fireplace. Next up is adding on to the mantle shelf, make it larger, deeper, a little chunkier looking and adding dental moulding as well for some visual depth. It looks good now, should look even better once that is done.
George has been gone the last few hours so I've been watching stuff on Hulu from the History channel, currently watching a show about the atom bomb. Good stuff right before bed, eh?
I bought a humidifier at Target today in the hopes that it would help this dry cough. It's a big, green frog... The steam is coming out of it's eyes. And these things are supposed to KEEP kids from being scared of them?! Pssh!
I intended to make pumpkin mini muffins and pumpkin oatmeal cookies this weekend, but obviously that didn't happen. Maybe later this week. I hate when I make plans to do something (especially on the weekends) and I can't get it done for whatever reason.
George should be home soon, he's going to stop at the store and get me some soup, crackers and chapstick... I'm not going to feel like running errands tomorrow, gotta stock up now.
