the perverse reality of life's nothingness is weighing on my soul today.....sickness is an enemy. there is a visible haze in my mind, musty, dark and grey. i feel cold and chilled like a nice bottle of white wine, just without the happiness. i am missing from me. i feel the bleakness taking a foothold

Each and every star is connected to every other...Through the various connections. It is like a web of light comparable to the web between the vampires in Anne Rice's novels (the web is spoken of in Queen of the Damned and those novels following in the Chronicles).

I think of people like so many peebles on the bottom of a spring, and each person "collected" adds a different rippling to the surface, which in turn effects all.

You stand at a crossroads, my friend, and you know where one path will take you and not where the other will. Your decision is a tough one. If you take the old path then you know what to expect from it. You know there will be rocky places but that you'll manage. The other path, however, holds no answers. It is a mystery path that has appeared, one you didn't know you would stumble upon. All you can see of the new path is that it brings about an awakening inside, maybe something you thought long dead, or maybe something you lost contact with within yourself. It is unknown and in being such it is fascinating and intriguing, but because it is unknown there are many risks that you must weigh and decide if they are worth it.

If you take your new path you will abandon the old path, is the risk worth it? Take a look at the old path, and I mean really look, and see if the destination is really where you want to be, or something you will accept.

I am one who seeks the path that is tried and true, but find myself stmbling across these unknown paths and following them. While I can say that it has been the source of much excitement and enjoyment, I can also say that sometimes I wish that I had made a different decision and so-and-so intersection.

Decisions. Some decisions, once made, cannot be taken back. It may well be like deciding to use one of the foundation bricks from one house to build another, and then if you decide to return to the old house it falls in...because the very foundation is broken.

Life...Indeed, it is not a game at all. I wish that others out in the world realized this.
