I'm thinking about not listening to music anymore. Or cutting down at least. As much love that I have for music, I'm starting to think it's a bad thing. All this music. It keeps you distracted. Distracted from thinking your own thoughts. I'm starting to think it kills your imagination. Until it's as useless as your appendix. The same goes for television, but I quit that long ago.
When you're always being filled with other people's opinions, no one has to worry what's going on in your mind. No one will ever be a threat to the world. What I'm starting to think is, maybe music is just another method of control.
