Wikimon Personality: Miyako's a loud, boisterous girl who easily wears her heart on her sleeve. In some ways, she seems to resemble the mold of a typical teenage girl. She's young and carefree, with a bright smile and an exciting future ahead of her. And she likes boys. Actually, she loves boys--when she gets her sights on one, she has a habit of jumping forth and finding reasons to see them or spend time with them, doodles their names in notebooks, even refers to herself with their last name for a few days. Of course, she doesn't stalk them to their houses or track them down everywhere, but sometimes she wishes she could!
She's one to make her presence known, that's for certain. Miyako's quite loud. She doesn't have a problem with being quiet, but she seems to choose not to. Typically seen chatting, Miyako can hold a conversation for a ridiculously long time. And if she's not talking to make noise, she's probably having an emotional moment. Because she's so vocal, she has no problem expressing how's she feeling, when she's feeling it, which sometimes leads to her accidentally upsetting someone or making them uneasy by running her mouth. In situations like that, she never means to hurt someone, since she's not the type of person to guilt another, so she has no problem apologizing.
Miyako's most defining trait is that she is a hardcore geek. During the first battle against Diablomon--which took place on the internet, mind you!--Miyako was right there communicating with Koushiro and sending emails to slow down the digimon, and that was back when she was in elementary school! In middle school, she only gets worse. She's helped work on background music for Yamato-senpai's band, and she attends computer club with Koushiro.
When it comes to her friends and family, Miyako is very close. Whether human or digimon, she treasures her friends and family as some of the most precious things in the world. She has a habit of getting frustrated with her family, but what teenager doesn't? Truth is she can't live without them, since she'd find herself a lot lonelier. But the time spent away with them leaves more time for her friends, to whom she is very close. She tends to treat most of her friends like siblings anyway. She looks up to the older digidestined--more noticeably Sora and Mimi--as older sisters, and she bickers with Daisuke almost immensely. Not to mention, she's typically at Iori's house either hanging out or fixing their electronics every other week.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Miyako is very protective of her friends and her family. When something bothers them, she's usually one of the first to meddle and get to the bottom of it. She's a very caring individual--and very passionate about her friends--so she'll step in to hopefully keep them from getting hurt. And even if something goes wrong, Miyako's a very kind girl with good intentions behind her actions. She's almost incapable of malicious thought. As the digidestined of the crests sincerity and love, Miyako's very true to herself and caring of others. She tends to give her family leeway because they're older, but she'll easily and quickly jump forth if she needs to protect them.
She's also rather close to her family, and due to this, she's been stuck helping out with the convenience store they own. Because of how much she has to help out, she's developed quite a work ethic. After all, how many twelve-year-olds do you know who actually have a job?
But in the end, Miyako's still a twelve-year-old. And she's filled with those typical worries and concerns about... well... everything. Boy-crazy and pretty spazzy, Miyako tends to get distracted and throw not only her concentration but sometimes her care for her friends to the side when it comes to cute boys. When Daisuke couldn't get Ken Ichijouji's autograph for her, she sulked and took it out on squishing poor Poromon, and even held it against Daisuke. Thankfully*, she's not ridiculous enough to ditch her friends and join the evil side, but she does tend to doubt or question if her crush is evil mostly because 'how can she like someone evil?'
She tends to get upset easily. This is mostly just a flaw of adolescence, seeing as Miyako is still a child, but it's not uncommon to see her crying over being left alone or seeing her friends get hurt. Miyako also tends to get swept up in her emotions quite a bit. She has a habit of rambling and will get louder or angrier if she gets too riled up, or getting sulky or argumentative if she's having a bad day.
But in the end, Miyako's biggest fear is being alone. From her large family, she's used to lots of people, and even though she complains about them, she does get upset if she can't see her loved ones for long periods of time. From her family to her close friends to her digimon, she gets very attached and sometimes a bit clingy. Even though she can stand her own, she doesn't like staying alone.

First Person Sample:
What kind of weird system is this? Is this thing even--
[The camera blinks on to Miyako's face, and she squints for a moment. But once she realizes the camera's on, she perks up - if only for a second.]
Bingo! It's on, right? [Looks on. She smiles.] Uh... Hi! I'm Inoue Miyako, grade 6... Um...
...I'm not even in Japan, am I?
[She questions why she's even talking to the device. By the odd mixture of torn expressions on her face, it looks as if she's unsure about what to say next. Finally, she settles for a pout.]
I don't know how I got here, but I bet it's Daisuke's fault.
Third Person Sample: There was something about all of the bugs that was driving her insane. Now, Miyako was never one to hate bugs--actually, she thought some of them were pretty neat, especially the digimon-type (like Tentomon, whom she believed was adorable as anything)--but she was getting tired of running into so many of them. After her second Beedrill swarm on this trail, she was getting ready to call it quits and start wailing. Those things were huge, and flying at her face, and they could attack - and there was only so much her little Natu could do, since apparently a digimon's evolution-and-devolution changes didn't work with pokémon. The first time they tried to fight them, he had gotten hurt. And she didn't want to see that happen again.
But that would take time. And she didn't really have time--she just had more swarms! She hugged the Natu close, frowning. She had run out of potions, and by the Natu's soft squeaks of "'Tu! 'Tu!" she was sure the thing needed something. Oh why did she have to run out of everything now?! They just had to make it to Cherrygrove, and then she could meet up with everyone.
She was almost there...
She had to be... She didn't want to be stuck out here forever. Maybe checking her PokéGear again would tell her how far they were. Shifting the little Natu to one hand, she pulled out the device with her other, flipping it open.
Nothing.
Wait... nothing?! Did she crack the screen when she tripped over the rock earlier?
Already, the tears began to burn in Miyako's eyes. Of course, this was nothing new. Now, the digital world was one thing - after all, there were portals in every few sections, and she could always find somewhere safe to take a breather when things got messy - but here... here she was stuck, and hungry, and wanting a nice bath, and wanting the nurses to make Natu better, and she wanted to see her friends again, and everything just sucked...
And two seconds later, her dirty cheeks had clear streams as Miyako unleashed the tearworks and just wailed as she sank to her knees. Having no Gear, no friends, and no food, just her and her injured pokémon in the middle of some unfamiliar wilderness, brought one very key statement from her:
"I wadda go hoooomeee!"
The alarmed Natu could do nothing but softly squeak out at her, though his soft cries weren't very comforting. From a distance, it sounded like he was crying too.
