Initial drabble: I Knew Him Well
V-mon moved his head a few millimeters to the side to avoid collision with book Daisuke had throw over his shoulder. The teen was exceedingly ruffled. He could swear he had left thing right there. And he had cleaned up the damn room just yesterday, so it wasn't like it could have grown a pair of legs and walked away!
V-mon fidgeted a bit on his seat, wondering if he should try helping.
"What are you looking for, anyway, Daisuke?" he finally asked.
His partner turned around and dropped down on his bed with a heavy discontent sigh.
"The papier maché skull for tomorrow's theater club play," he explained.
The dragon looked at his dumbly.
"We're playing Hamlet," Daisuke further explained. "It's for a scene at a grave site."
"Oh, ewww."
Daisuke chortled.
"Yeah guess so. But I can't find the damn thing and I don't have time to redo it from the ground up."
He started looking more intently at his partner, which generated further fidgeting. Wait a second... He knew there hould not have been anything there...
"What are you sitting on?" he asked, abruptly shoving the protesting Digimon off. "Ah! There it is! "
"That is supposed to be a skull?" V-mon's eye bugged out. "I thought it was some old soccer ball!"
(tagging this with "admin" only, for simplicity's sake)
ETA: How come nobody pointed out I accidentally left another drabble copy-pasted in?!?
