Notes: I wrote this mainly because of an English assignment. (To write a descriptive paragraph describing a person.) It sort of grew from there. It's my first time using the Japanese names in a story, too.
He watched as the dead leaves danced across his line of vision borne upon the moanful wind. His sturdy shoulders were hunched, as if they were forever stuck in that position. It wasn't very cold however the hefty man kept his great arms crossed across his chest and his bulky sheepskin coat buttoned right to the top. An air of eternal neglect hung around him and the area he was in. From the shabby looking trees around the upright stones to the brown mop of hair upon the man's head. A bunch of lilacs, freshly picked, was clutched tightly in his hand. The dying sunlight of dusk made the single teardrop upon his cheek glitter like a single precious stone.
Stepping forward, just a single step, he laid his flowers upon the ground in front of one of those many granite stones and stepped back respectfully.
"I've got to go now," his said, his voice was a cracked whisper, after what seemed like an eternity. "But I'll be back, Izumi-chan. I'll be back."
The man left, his heavy footsteps crunching the dead leaves littered upon the ground.
