Arukenimon and Mummymon are no older than three years old. Since Yukio still had short hair when he sent them off to the Digital World for the first time, I assume they were both created and realized in 2000. I've always assumed that Mummymon is the older one, actually; he looks and acts a lot like a prototype of what Yukio really wanted. He can't blend in the Real World very well and he's not quite ruthless enough on his own right. Arukenimon, however, has a human form that looks almost completely human and is kind of a nasty bitch. Being the dork that I am, I actually gave them exact 'realization dates' and made them only about a week apart (and Mumm's 'realization date' is exactly one week after Iori's birthday. The one I made up. I'm such a dork).
Hiroki died sometime in early 1999. That would make Iori about five years old, going on six.
Obviously, Chikara just forbade the kids from playing the games together and perhaps didn't allow Yukio to come to the Hida house... they could still hang out with each other outside of that, after all.
We don't know anything about Yukio's family. All we know is that he was a very lonely kid.
Yukio and Ken's father are both computer programmers. I think they work for a large office and are the ones that make sure the shared computer system is up and running smoothly; my mom's office had people like that, so I assume any big office with a lot of computers would too.
The reason I assume Arukenimon is older is because Yukio is seen "showing" Hiroki a picture of a digital spider, which I assume would mean she would be the first one.
