Oh, I get it. Yeah, we've had this happen a few times in my world. Ask Kira Ford about Trent sometime. Or better yet, maybe you'd want to talk to Tommy Oliver--has he got a story to tell.

In my personal experience? The demons sent someone to kill all of us. He took the strongest power we had--the Titanium Morpher (kind of like the strongest Adult evolution DATS has, for comparison)--and used it against us. He was determined to kill my best friend Dana, and our captain. But he turned out to be Captain Mitchell's son and Dana's brother. It took a while, but we finally managed to get him on our side, and we forgave him. He didn't quite forgive himself for a while, but anyway, he became one of our best friends.

And if you don't think that'll apply, here's another that maybe might help you. One of our greatest enemies, Diabolico, saved my friend Carter from being sealed in the tomb with the demons, just because he wanted to get back at Bansheera and he was an honorable fighter. If nothing else, maybe you'll be able to fight with Gotsumon on your side as long as you have the same goals. Doesn't mean you have to get along with him, of course.

So was Diabolico. Ryan kind of was too, depending on who in the family you ask. Ask him, and he will say he did it on his own.

And yeah, it's going to hurt for a long time. That's the way betrayal is. The important part is putting your feelings aside long enough to accomplish the goal. And who knows? Maybe the pain will hurt a little less as time goes by. Look at me, sounding all professional like this.
