sad mac.
just wanted to let you all know that i'm without my mac for the next 7 to 10 business days. something went wrong yesterday in between the time i left for the IT holiday party and came home, a span of like 6 hours, that has left it unable to turn on or charge a battery. *sigh* so after about 30 minutes with a mac genius today (who really was unable to help me out) i've decided to send it away for repairs. fingers crossed that it will all work out and they'll be able to fix it w/o losing any of my data. *sigh*
this does, unfortunately, mean i will have to deal without it for probably the next 2 weeks(ish) as well as not having access to any freelance files, photos, data, etc. so if any of you lj stalkers are waiting on things from me, it might be a little bit before i can get them to you.
i'll have some internet access at home still, so hopefully i won't be too slacker-ish when it comes to checking email and such outside of business hours. i had to brush the dust off my pc and get it back in working order this afternoon, but it should be okay. it's not my mac, but it'll do.
