Hayden Superstar
Wow.
Last night, I saw Princess Superstar in concert. I can die happily now.
I took Don, cuz Jess hadda cancel. No biggie. UV Protection also played, along with Freezepop. I'd never heard either of them, but UV Protection put on an AWESOME show! Freezepop was alright, but I couldn't get into their music. I did, however, manage to get Travis an autograph from them! ...if I can find it lol.
Don and I got there like 20 minutes early, and we went downstairs and talked to Princess' manager. He was really cool. He asked if I wanted to go say hi to her, but she was around MIT doing an interview for the Globe.
Then the lady that worked there carded Don and I. No biggie for him, but considering I'm 15 and at an 18+ show, an issue is posed. It actually wasn't that bad, though, cuz Concetta (Princess) lied to them and told them I was 18. That was one of the coolest things anyone's ever done for me!
So after that, Don and I went and picked up some Red Bull and waited in line. The other two bands played, and Princess went last. She played all the songs from "My Machine", along with a new song and "Bad Babysitter". And this isn't me being biased, Concetta really did put on the best show that night. She had about 4 costume changes, which flowed pretty well with the performance. Some girls near me tried to steal the pom-poms she used during "Bad Babysitter", but security stopped them.
After her performance, I sat and talked with her while she was signing autographs. I got a nickname, too! She calls me "Hayden Superstar" now lol. After we chatted, I bought a vinyl copy of "My Machine", which she signed, already knowing how to spell my name... haha.
